Recapping Busy Day of Offers From Pitt Coaching Staff



The Pitt coaching staff has been hitting recruiting trails hard over the last few weeks, offering recruits in the class of 2024, 2025 and 2026, and yesterday was a big day of extending offers.

Pitt’s coaching staff extended offers to recruits from Florida, Ohio, Massachusetts and more.


Jalon Thompson — 6-foot, 170-pound three-star safety from Olympia High in Orlando, Florida

Thompson also holds offers from Appalachian State, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Penn State, Rutgers and West Virginia.


Romando Johnson — 6-foot-4, 230-pound edge from Palm Beach Central High in West Palm Beach, Florida

Johnson also holds offers from Massachusetts and USF.

Kaumaurri Smith — 6-foot-5, 200-pound wide receiver from Wayne High in Dayton, Ohio

Smith also holds offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Kentucky and Kentucky.

Mark Manfred — 6-foot-3, 175-pound cornerback from Sprayberry High in Marietta, Georgia

Manfred also holds offers from Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern and Massachusetts.

Jussiah Williams-West — 6-foot-3, 175-pound three-star safety from Wayne High in Dayton, Ohio

Williams also holds offers from Ball State, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Miami (Oh.) and Kentucky

Blake Hebert – 6-foot-3, 205-pound three-star quarterback from Central Catholic in Lawrence, Massachusetts

Hebert also holds offers from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Rutgers and Virginia.

JT Taggart — 6-foot-5, 220-pound athlete from American Heritage in Delray Beach, Florida

Taggart also holds offers from Colorado, Eastern Kentucky, Florida A&M, Miami and Minnesota.

Charles Johns0n — 6-foot-2, 205-pound athlete from King George High in King George, Virginia

Johnson also holds an offer rom FAU.

Ned Boldin Jr. — 6-foot, 180-pound athlete from Palm Beach Central High in West Palm Beach, Florida

Boldin also holds offers from Akron, Bethune-Cookman, Bowling Green, Eastern Kentucky, FAU and Massachusetts.
