The 6-foot safety from LaSalle High School in Cincinnati tells Pittsburgh that on decision day, he’ll be deciding between these eight schools: Pitt, Purdue, Rutgers, USC, Georgia, Wisconsin, Boston College and Michigan State. Other teams that extended Beasley an offer include Arkansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
The good news for Pitt is that as of right now, they’ll be getting one of his official visits.
Beasley has three scheduled official visits for June- Pitt (June 9), Wisconsin (June 16) and Purdue (Purdue). Keep in mind, Beasley has already made three unofficial visits to Pitt, one to Purdue and one to USC. This will be his first time visiting the Wisconsin program.
Beasley is able to play cornerback, or really anything in a defensive scheme, but Pitt’s staff sees him as a safety — a free safety in the mold of All-ACC safety Erick Hallett.
As a junior at LaSalle, Beasley racked up 882 all-purpose yards and added 40 tackles, five pass breakups and an interception defensively — following up on an explosive sophomore season.
