A new offensive lineman has entered the picture for Pitt.
2024 3-star offensive tackle Zafir Stewart tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he’ll be making an official visit to Pitt next weekend (June 8-10). Stewart attends Imhotep Charter School in Philadelphia and is the teammate of Pitt 2024 4-star defensive tackle commit Jahsear Whittington.
Back in February, Stewart (6’5″, 320-pounds) named a Top 3 of Nebraska, Penn State and Rutgers but considering he’s visiting Pitt, he’s obviously open to other schools.
Stewart’s list of Power Five offers includes Pitt, Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Maryland, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers and West Virginia.
Pitt currently has commitments from 2 lineman (Adham Abouraya, Jiavani Cooley and are looking to add more to their Class of 2024.
This weekend 3 offensive lineman are making Pitt official visits: 3-star offensive tackle Mason Lindsay from DeMatha Catholic in Maryland, 3-star lineman Jaden Lafontant from Brunswick School in Connecticut and 4-star lineman Caleb Holmes from Creekside High School in Fairburn, Georgia.
