Last year, in year two of the Pat Kelsey era, Charleston burst onto the national scene, going 31-4 and earning a No. 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars went 16-2 in the CAA, winning both the Regular Season title and the CAA Tournament. Charleston reloaded its roster this offseason, once again taking advantage of the transfer portal, and specifically, the Division Two transfer market. The Cougars added the following players from the portal this offseason:
Bryce Butler – West Liberty (D2) – 22.4 PPG, 7.6 RPG
Kobe Rodgers – Nova Southeastern (D2 National Champions) – 12.8 PPG, 4.5 RPG
CJ Fulton- Lafayette – Third Team All Patriot League – 10.1 PPG
Frankie Policelli – Stony Brook – 13.7 PPG, 9.4 RPG
Everything Going According to Plan for Pat Kelsey and Charleston this Offseason
