Some big WPIAL girls basketball news today, as Shady Side Academy coach Jonna Burke has been suspended by the WPIAL one year for PIAA recruiting violations. Shady Side plans to appeal. Burke, who was set to enter her third season at SSA, has more than 500 career wins.

**Robert Morris men’s basketball has extended an offer to 2025 shooting guard Keith McKnight from Teaneck High School (New Jersey) and PSA Cardinal. McKnight (6-foot-4) averaged 14.3 points and 5.4 rebounds last season. McKnight holds offers from St. Bonaventure and Manhattan.
