Pitt Makes a Few Changes to the Starting Lineup

PITTSBURGH — The expected change at quarterback, making the switch from Phil Jurkovec to Christian Veilleux, is official, but Pitt made a few lineup changes ahead of kicking off against No. 14 Louisville.

Rodney Hammond Jr., who is dressed, is not listed as a starter. C’Bo Flemister is. Bub Means, who is also dressed, is not listed as a starter. Kenny Johnson is.

Jake Kradel is once again not dressed, and the starting lineup of Branson Taylor, Jason Collier Jr., Terrence Moore, Blake Zubovic and Ryan Baer is intact. The defensive line is bolstered by the return of Devin Danielson — and Nate Temple sliding back into the starting lineup.

Bangally Kamara is dressed for the first time since the loss to West Virginia, and he’s back in the starting lineup. Pitt has thrown P.J. O’Brien Jr. back into the starting lineup over Donovan McMillon, too.

It’s just an announced starting lineup, but there are a few interesting decisions there.
