The season-ending loss to Duke means one thing for Pitt football: it’s time to hit the transfer portal.
A 3-9 (2-6 ACC) season means there will be changes one way or another, and that rings true for every aspect of Pitt football. There will be coaching changes, personnel changes and a very, very busy portal window.
Graduate players are already able to officially enter the transfer portal, but Dec. 4 marks the first day that the portal opens and it promises to be chaos. Pitt will be active, likely incoming and outgoing, and Pittsburgh Sports Now will have you covered with Pitt, ACC and even WPIAL news.
Interviews, updates, analysis, predictions and general thoughts on everything that’s happening with Pitt football and the transfer portal — and in the recruiting realms of the classes of 2024 and 2025.
National Signing Day is Dec. 20, and the class of 2024 will be heavily recruited over the next few weeks.
