The unfortunate talk in Pittsburgh the past 48 hours has surrounded former Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett.
Reports came out on Monday stating that Pickett refused to dress against Seattle as the No. 2 quarterback behind Mason Rudolph.
At his press conference yesterday, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced that Rudolph would remain the team’s starting quarterback for their crucial season-ending game this Saturday against Baltimore.
This morning during the first players media availability of the week, Pickett opened things up by addressing the rumors and strongly denied them.
I guess the “Super Genius” is too lazy to check his sources, or more likely doesn’t give a crap if the info he puts out there is even accurate…just as long as it’s controversial. It’s Madden’s shtick and how he tries to stay relevant in this town. Personally, I haven’t listened to his show in years.
Madden has been anti-Pickett since day. So he’s the source for this nonsense…not surprised.
His so-called sources are about as ficticous as cnn’s & msnbc’s are. These media types are mostly just attention wh*res.
Madden & Benz are the perps. Madden must have said over a 100 times or more since Nov, maybe October even…that Pickett stinks. And Benz doesn’t disagree. Even though they both know Pickett led the most 4th Q comeback wins in the NFL over the last year or so. Or he’s 2nd. I only found out via a graphic the Network put up during a game on TV.
There seems to be more to this, and I for one, cannot wait until it all comes to light.
Mark needs so stick to Dek Hockey, Pro wrestling and Porn. Those are things he can speak about more accurately. He never played a down of football. He is morbidly obese and poorly dressed. For a super genius he dresses like a vagabond.
Also if on the opposite position is Colin Dunlap, I’ll take Madden every single time.
