Pitt Welcoming NBA Scouts for Game Against No. 11 Duke

PITTSBURGH — On Tuesday night, Pitt will host No. 11 Duke in an ACC battle at the Petersen Events Center.

Similar to many other games this year, the Panthers will host a number of NBA team scouts on Tuesday night. Tuesday night, the Panthers have seats reserved in the press box for the following NBA organizations: Oklahoma City Thunder (x3), Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz, and the Golden State Warriors.

Earlier this year, Panthers’ guard Bub Carrington burst onto the NBA Draft scene with a triple-double in his first career collegiate game. Ever since the beginning of this season, Pitt has had scouts invited to just about every home game. Duke also has a host of players that are well-known prospects for the pros, including Kyle Filipowski, Tyrese Proctor, Jared McCain, Mark Mitchell, and others.

The game will tip off at 9 p.m. on ESPN. Pitt currently sits at 10-5 (1-3 ACC) while No. 11 Duke is 11-3 (2-1 ACC).

Please tell Bub the scouts were there to see the Duke players. Hopefully the scouts are honest individuals & they tell Bub to stay in college & work on your shooting in order to be drafted into the NBA.. Capel should remind Bub of the bs that was fed to Champagne about being a high draft pick..
The kid has talent, but he needs to stay in school another year or two & work on his overall game.

Agreed, he should stay. No one on Pitt’s roster cold start for Duke.

Any scouts from Luxembourg there? That’s where Bub is going to end up if he can’t prove that he can handle legitimate competition
