PGT Trucking is continuing to expand its operations throughout the United States.

PGT Trucking, which became the title sponsor for Pittsburgh Sports Now in November, broke ground on new facilities in Laredo, Texas and Ghent, Kent. in 2023, and by Q2 2024, both locations will be operational.

It’s the continuation of the expansion PGT Trucking has undergone over the last year, with both sites bringing new jobs and opportunities to the respective areas.

Patrick Gallagher, PGT Trucking’s founder and CEO, has been a long-time supporter of Pitt athletics and a generous donor to Pitt football. And now he’s helping PSN continue to provide its standout coverage of all things Pitt athletics — football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, wrestling, etc.

PGT Trucking, founded in 1981 by Gallagher on principles of superior flatbed transportation services and personal relationships, is a multi-service transportation firm offering flatbed, dedicated, international and specialized services in a multitude of industries including steel, building materials, machinery, oil & gas, aluminum and automotive.

With more than 30 terminals across the United States of America, PGT is a leader in progressive freight transportation and fleet evolution.

PGT has continued to expand its business over the last year, recently acquiring Sunbird Transport and welcoming King Transportation Services and Klapec Express Inc. as its newest Integrated Fleet Partners.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced career employing progressive technology, revolutionary equipment and contemporary methods, then PGT is the place for you.
