Q&A

Other sports: I will be playing basketball and track this year.

Favorite hobby outside of football? Playing video games.

Favorite type of song, music or artist to get you ready for a game? One of my local friends, K3.

What’s your pregame routines/superstitions? I always got to listen to music before I play, got to stretch. Got to nap before I do anything.

Favorite gameday meal? Chicken Alfredo.

Favorite NFL player to watch? Odell Beckham Jr.

Something people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to know? I push myself to be where I am at right now. I really don’t have anybody in my corner. Everything that people see me doing going to camps and competing and showing off my talent, that’s because I want to.

Favorite high school football moment so far? Camp every year. I love the experience.

Describe yourself on the field? I’m tall, very physical and I’m disciplined.

What are your goals this offseason? Putting on weight and muscle. I’ve been working on my feet and jump ball capability with a lot of contact.

D1 Offers? Monmouth.

Camp/Visit schedule? The only camp I’ve attended was the 2Tenths camp. Trying to get up to Monmouth as we speak.

What’s the recruiting process been like? It’s been a rollercoaster. You have ups and downs. The downs are more long than the up part. If you want something, you have to work for them, but at the same time, it’s hard getting offers in single-A football. I’m just waiting on God’s time.

Coach Talk

“He’s one of those kids that can make a play anytime. You have to worry about where he’s lining up and what he’s doing. He’s one of those impact type kids. Anytime he’s one-on-one, he’s a mismatch. He’s a total package — he has the speed, he has the size, he has that DI ability. If you watch him play, he makes great catches, he has great hands and he makes catches in traffic.” — Clairton head coach Wayne Wade

Correll is an under-the-radar prospect in the WPIAL. He showed off his skills and was a standout at the 2Tenths Top 150 Camp two weeks ago. Correll has a large catch radius and is a lethal weapon when one-on-one. He does a great job at coming down with contested throws and high-difficulty catches. He also has excellent speed and does a good job at picking up yards after the catch.
