The Duquesne basketball program is losing a member of its front court.
Despite the Dukes 9-3 start, senior forward Kevin Easley has made the decision to leave the program and enter the transfer portal.

Easley’s departure comes on the heels of him returning after serving a team imposed 7-game suspension. No official word was ever given for the suspension.
In the first 3 games of the season, Easley averaged 5.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game.
The 6’7″, 230-pound forward arrived at Duquesne last season after transferring in from TCU and went on to average 10.7 points and 6.6 rebounds in 31.8 minutes per game.
Unlike in 2021, Easley was battling for minutes in the front court this season with Joe Reece, Tre Williams, Austin Rotroff, David Dixon and Halil Barre.
With the mix of young and veteran talent, Keith Dambrot has been able to use a deep rotation and it’s worked.
