My Christmas vacation is now over, I’m back home in Hopewell and back on the “Pitt recruiting beat.”

**Im being told that DE Quayshon Alexander might be done making official visits.  If that’s the case, Alexander will be deciding between Pitt, Nebraska and Michigan.  I think this is coming down to Pitt and Michigan.

**Georgia 2017 LB Juwuan Jones, a player that I wrote about last week and someone that I really hope that Pitt offers played in a All-Star game today for elite juniors. Jones finished with 6 tackles and 1 QB hurry, plus a near pick.

***Pitt’s Class of 2016 stands at 19 tonight but it’s really at 21. I’m saying that because tonight I’ve learned of 2 players that will eventually commit to the Panthers.  Since these 2 players don’t want it announced yet, I agreed to not post anything until they give me permission to do so. A big part of this business is to earn trust with players and coaches. One way to do that is to “sit” on info for a bit when they ask you to do so.
