Is Henry Miller Flipping?

Published

Could Pitt be on the verge of losing a 2016 committed recruit?

Henry Miller is a talented cornerback that committed to Pitt back in Decemeber now some major schools are showing late interest.

Miller (6-3, 190) is a kid that could be presented with a tough decision.

Within the last couple of weeks both Miami and Ohio State have expressed serious interest in Miller. In fact, new Miami coach Mark Richt has offered Miller. The two schools have even been to Kissimmee Gateway High School to visit Miller.

Ohio State hasn’t offered yet but apparently they’re the school Miller would have interest in. It’s being reported by Chris Hays (Orlando Sentinel) that new Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano wants to offer and is waiting for the Ok from Urban Meyer.

The 3 major questions now are: 1) will Meyer offer 2) would Miller make a visit to Columbus without an offer 3) what will Miller do if Ohio State offers?

Taking everything into account, this is a tough spot for a high school. Does he stick with his original commitment or does he get lured by the “glamor” program?

The other factor in this situation is how Pat Narduzzi and Pitt react if Miller goes on official visits to either Ohio State or Miami? Will Miller still have a scholarship from Pitt?

This situation is why teams continue to visit kids that have already committed to them and also why continue to pursue kids even though they appear to be set at a certain position.

I hope to talk with Miller soon so check back for his reaction to this.
