Pitt Football/Hoops Notebook

Will be compiling news and notes that I gather throughout the days.

**First off, excited to say that we’ve added another writer to Pittsburgh Sports Now.  Kevin Reitmeyer, a guy that I’ve worked with and known for a long time, will be contributing weekly (maybe more) to the site.  Kevin will write his first column tonight.   I’m glad we’re able to bring Kevin aboard.   We’re able to do this because of your donations to the site, so thank you and if you haven’t done so, please consider doing so.

2017 Central Catholic LB David Adams sent a tweet out this morning- “S/O to the @OaklandZoo for showing love to the Chain Gang.  #H2P

Adams also sent me a short message and described his day on Saturday at Pitt: “The visit was very good. I enjoyed talking with the coaches. I talked with Coach Narduzzi and Coach Harley the most.  They really like me and want me to be a part of the family. I really liked the new facilities also.”

**2017 4-star  DT Fred Hansard also gave me his thoughts on visiting Pitt and the coaching staff- “The day went great. What stood out to me was the Pitt tradition and the coaches. Coach Duzz and I had a great conversation.”

**I realize that this is worthless but fans always love seeding potential matchups for March.  A couple outlets updated their brackets today-
