Kevin Stallings and the Pitt basketball team received some good news tonight as 4-star guard Justice Kithcart thought it over and has decided to keep his commitment to Pitt.
Pittsburgh Sports Now just received the news and according to Justice Kirthcart, “I would like to thank Coach Stallings and the entire Pitt coaching staff and all of the fans for their patience and understanding through this process.”
Kithcart (6-2, 170) is a player that will have a real chance to thrive in Pitt’s new offensive system. He’s a very quick player and he thrives in an up-tempo offense. With the graduation of James Robinson, he’ll also have a legit opportunity to step right in and get major minutes. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kitchart steps right in and takes over for Robinson as Pitt’s starting point guard, he’s that good.
Kithcart averaged 24 points and six assists in the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship game to lead Virginia Episcopal to the state title.

Stallings has now gotten two of Jamie Dixon’s previous commitments to stay with Pitt.
