PITT’s POV
Pitt finished last season with a 22-11 record, going 12-8 in ACC play. Last year, the Panthers’ first opponent was NC A&T, who ranked No. 356 in Kenpom’s rankings going into the matchup.
While losing Blake Hinson, Federiko Federiko, and Will Jeffress, the Panthers have added transfers Cam Corhen (forward from Florida State), Damian Dunn (guard from Houston), and freshmen Brandin Cummings (guard) and Amdy Ndiaye (forward).
Because of this first game, Joe Lunardi already has Pitt in his Next Four Out for next year’s NCAA Tournament.
