It’s a big day for a pair of recruits that Pitt has recruited hard. One is supposed to decide and the other one will narrow his long list down to five schools.

Let’s start with the local recruit, 4-star defensive tackle Donovan Jeter from Beaver Falls. Jeter holds offers from virtually every major program in the country and tonight at 8 PM, he’ll reveal his top five choices.

Last month, Jeter picked his top nine schools schools, which were Alabama, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pitt and Tennessee.

Who will make Jeter’s Top Five? I’m going to have some fun and take a guess (and that’s all it is). Here goes!

I’m going with Pitt, Penn State, Michigan, Alabama and Ohio State. I’ll say Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Michigan State get eliminated.

Jeter is a player at the very top of Pat Narduzzi’s wish list on the Pitt recruiting board. I’d be shocked if Jeter doesn’t have Pitt in his Final Five.

The other big name to make an announcement today is Florida 4-star athlete Bruce Judson. This afternoon at 2 PM, Judson isn’t just cutting down his list, he plans on making a college decision.

Judson, who’s rated as one of the Top 10 athletes in the country, is a hard guy to get a read on. Honestly, his opinion on schools seems to change a lot and I wouldn’t be surprised if Judson doesn’t make a decision today. I know he said he’s making a decision, but let’s see what happens.

If he does make a decision, I’m guessing he stays at home and commits to a Florida school. Florida? South Florida? We’ll find out this afternoon.  At least, that’s what’s being said right now.
