Pitt has received commitments from 2 offensive lineman in this year’s class but are still looking for a couple more. I believe two of the top targets are Ohio’s Thayer Munford and New Jersey OT Carter Warren.

This weekend, Warren will make his second visit to Pittsburgh. Tonight on the phone, Warren told me that he plans on coming to town this Saturday. He previously visited the campus for Junior Day in April.

Warren (Wayne, New Jersey) is a huge prospect, both talent wise and size (6-7, 315). Aside from Pitt, Warren also holds offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland, Miami (FL), North Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

First off, I asked Warren about his reason for coming back to check Pitt out again.

“I’m still considering Pitt in my recruiting process, so why not go visit? I’ve had great contact with the coaches and they’ve been pushing me to come back down, so I needed to get back down there,” said Warren.

Another reason for the return visit is he enjoyed himself the first time during Junior Day.

“Mostly the coaching staff. I feel like I had a good relationship with them. It was pretty cool there, I liked it. Plus, the facilities were beautiful.”

Warren also told me that knowing he’s such a high priority on Pitt’s recruiting board is pretty special and means something to him.

Like I previously mentioned, Pitt isn’t the only school recruiting him hard. Warren wouldn’t reveal any favorite teams just saying that it’s hard and that he’s up and down as far as teams at the top of his board. Despite the uncertainty, he loves the situation that he’s in with all these big schools coming after him.

“This process is a blessing, it’s a one-time deal,” said Warren. “I’m just taking it as it is. You’ll have ups and downs in this process but it’s a blessing, can be stressful at times but it’s a gift.”

**UPDATE**-  Pittsburgh Sports Now’s Harry Psaros tells me that Warren has changed his plans and will now visit Pitt this coming Wednesday and Thursday
