The Pitt Panthers continue to make recruiting the state of Ohio a priority by offering another top prospect. Last night while visiting for the Marshall game, Pitt offered a scholarship to St. Francis DeSales (Columbus) 2018 athlete Brian AsaMoah.
This is AsaMoah’s (6-1, 205) first Power 5 offer (6-1, 205) and it’s obviously a big deal to him.

“I was lost for words on receiving a scholarship offer from this school. The offer was a total surprise when Coach Narduzzi offered me. Coach just said that he believes I’m a guy that make plays and that we’d love to have you here. He then said you have received an offer from Pitt,” said AsaMoah.
Following his day in Pittsburgh, AsaMoah has a real favorable impression of Pitt.
“My thoughts were, wow, this school is amazing and it would be great to be there. The two things that stood out to me were the stadium and the Pitt coaching staff,” said AsaMoah.
“For me to receive my first Power 5 offer, it’s amazing just to receive a scholarship offer period. This is truly a blessing from the man above.”
In high school, AsaMoah plays both running back and linebacker but he tells me that Pitt is recruiting him to play linebacker.
