UPDATE (2:30 PM)-
**Things are not going well for Kevin Stallings in his first few months of recruiting at Pitt. Today, Pitt lost out on a 4-star recruit and a player that the team was really hoping to land.
4-star forward Kimani Lawrence announced today that he’s trimmed his list of finalists from 5 down to 3 and Pitt isn’t included in the group. Lawrence has a final 3 teams of Arizona State, Florida and USC.
UPDATE (10:56 AM)-
**For the second day in a row, a WPIAL player has received an offer from a Power 5 school.
Thanks everyone for making yesterday our highest day of traffic on the site since National Letter of Intent Day in February. Everyone here at Pittsburgh Sports Now appreciates your support.
** I’m hearing that Georgia wide receiver and big Pitt target Connor Heyward is starting to receive major interest from Michigan State. They haven’t offered yet but…
** Aside from visiting 4-star 2018 WR Shaquon Butts-Anderson and 4-star TE Zack Kuntz, Pitt WR coach also checked in on 2018 safety Charlie Katshir from Mechanicsburg, PA and Cumberland Valley HS.
As of yesterday, Katshir (6-3, 200) didn’t have an offer from Pitt but does have one from Penn State. Another interesting thing about Katshir is that he’s best friends with Kuntz.
