UPDATE (7:52 PM)-

**I’m told that Coach Powell spent a lot of time today with Florida 4-star running back A.J. Davis from Lakeland, Florida. As we’ve mentioned, Davis is a big-time talent, holding offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia.

The Pitt coaches will get a chance to see more of Davis this weekend when he makes an official visit to Pitt.

UPDATE (3:12 PM)-

**Prior to the Pinstripe Bowl press conference tomorrow, Coach Narduzzi stopped for an in-home visit with 2017 recruit Kenny Pickett.

UPDATE (2:18 PM)-

**This is interesting. Just spoke to another recruit that’s committed to another school who told me a Pitt coach (which I won’t name ) will visit him tonight. This recruit asked me not to mention his name because he’s committed already but that there’s a chance a makes an official to Pitt.

**We just wrote about this sophomore this morning after Pitt offered last week.

UPDATE (11:01 AM)-

**Last week I wrote about a player who’s committed to another school that a Pitt coach was visiting. It’s a touchy situation for the recruit and because of that I’m not comfortable mentioning his name. Quick update on that, I received a message from that recruit after I asked him for an update. He’s been told to not answer any questions until something is decided. We’ll stay on this though but at the same time respect his wishes and privacy.

**Another player that Pitt is pursuing was at Michigan State this weekend.

UPDATE (9:27 AM)-

**This may be nothing or it might be a sign of communication between Pitt and soon to be Notre Dame transfer quarterback Malik Zaire. As first noticed by Chris Dokish, Zaire just started following Pat Narduzzi on Twitter and a few members of the Pitt team (John Peterson, Tre Tipton and Mark Diethorn) started following Zaire. It’s obviously a situation to keep an eye on.

UPDATE (8:59 AM)-

**Pitt target and current Maryland commitment cornerback Kenny Bennett made a visit to Maryland over the weekend and it looks like he enjoyed himself. However, this won’t stop Pitt from recruiting him and I expect them to visit him real soon.

UPDATE (8:55 PM)-

**This is a situation to keep your eye on an that’s Connor Heyward and Michigan State. While I believe the Panthers are the leaders, it’s not a slam dunk. Heyward took an official visit to Michigan State over the weekend.
