Pitt Visits Wade Tonight

Twelve days left before Clairton star cornerback Lamont Wade makes his much anticipated college decision.

Who will it be? Pitt? Penn State? West Virginia? UCLA? Tennessee?

We don’t know the answer to that but something we do know is that Pitt wants him badly and tonight they’ll try to make their case for him to stay home.

I’m being told that tonight Coach Conklin and Coach Hill will meet with Wade and his family at their home in Clairton. Those two along with Coach Narduzzi have attended some of Wade’s recent games but tonight they’ll have the Wade’s family undivided attention.

Head coaches only get one in home visit so Coach Narduzzi will undoubtedly get one of those before decision day on December 17th.

It will be important for Conklin and Hill to connect and make an impact not only with Lamont but also with his family.

We’ll do our best over the next 24 hours to find out how things go tonight.
