Jim Harbaugh has announced that former Pitt assistant Charlie Partridge has been hired as Michigans new special teams coordinator as well as the Wolverines new linebackers coach.
I was beginning to hear talk that Partridge was a serious candidate for the Pitt DL job but that won’t be happening.
Partridge seemed like a great candidate because of his reputation as a DL coach and his ability to recruit, especially in the state of Florida.
With all the DL coaching hirings within the past few days, I would expect Pitt to make an announcement within the next 5 days.
