Who’s Visiting Pitt For Junior Day Weekend?

The next two weekends are big days in the Pitt football recruiting calendar because its Junior Day Weekend.

The football program invites junior players to visit the program for the weekend. Recruits that hold offers from Pitt and those that are looking for offers are invited by the coaching staff.

For the last week, we’ve been working on which recruits will be visiting Pitt. Keep in mind, they’ll be a Junior Day this Saturday (February 18) and also next Saturday (February 25).

Here’s a list of players that I’ve confirmed will be attending this Saturday.

Brian Asamoah, LB, Columbus, Ohio:  holds offers from Pitt, Penn State, Michigan, UCLA, Indiana, Duke. Pitt was the first program to offer Asamoah.

Vinny DePalma, ILB, New Jersey: holds offers from Pitt, Wisconsin, Rutgers and Boston College

Kenny White, CB, West Allegheny

Chris Bleich, OL, Plymouth, PA: currently committed to Penn State. Holds offers from Pitt, Mississippi State, Syracuse and Rutgers.

Nick DeNucci, ILB, New Jersey:  holds offers from Rutgers, Syracuse and Boston College

Derek Devine, OL, North Allegheny

Juan Wallace, ILB, Washington DC: holds offers from Iowa State, Duke, Wisconsin, Syracuse

Nihym Anderson, LB, New Jersey: holds offers from Pitt, Minnesota, Rutgers, Syracuse. Pitt was the first school to offer Anderson.

Ronnie Stevenson, WR, Montour HS

Khalil Weathers, CB, Central Catholic

Kevin Doyle, QB, Washington DC: holds offers from Pitt, Boston College, Iowa, Kentucky, West Virginia, Michigan State, Nebraska and Mississippi. Pitt was the first school to offer Doyle.

Kwantel Raines, S, Aliquippa HS: holds offers from Pitt, Penn State, LSU, Louisville, Michigan State, Maryland, West Virginia, Wisconsin and South Carolina.

I’m waiting to hear back from a number of recruits so I’ll update this once I do.
