Taleni Dismissed From Pitt Football Program

Published

Real bad news for the 2017 Pitt football team as an expected team leader has been dismissed from the team.

Pat Narduzzi announced today that senior defensive tackle Jeremiah Taleni has been dismissed from the program for disciplinary reasons.

No other details were given for this surprising announcement, but from what I understand this isn’t anything criminal in nature.

Taleni was routinely praised this offseason by both Narduzzi and defensive line coach Charlie Partridge for his leadership and improved play.

This news means that the Panthers will be forced to rely more on newcomer Kam Carter and talented 2nd year players Amir Watts and Keyshon Camp.
