College basketball coaches will be back on the road recruiting today.

Now that a short “dead period” in recruiting is over, it’s game on for college basketball coaches.

Over the next few days, Pittsburgh Sports Now will attempt to locate some of the players that Pitt, Duquesne and Robert Morris are out evaluating/recruiting.

As far as Duquesne goes, look for them to be out looking for some big men at the 4 and 5 spots. The Dukes appear to be in good position on the wing and at the guard spot but are in need of some big, strong and athletic big men. Keith Dambrot appears to have some guards that can score but they’re in need of consistent low block scorers, the more the better.

Also, look for the Duquesne coaches to continue building a relationship with local teams and players.

Looking at Pitt, Kevin Stallings and his staff will be all over the East Coast at places like the Nike, Adidas and the Peach Jam Tournaments.

Here are some names that PSN expects the Pitt coaches to be looking at.

Rasir Bolton: Virginia Beach, VA (Huntington Prep). A 2018 3-star point guard that just received an offer from Pitt. Bolton also holds offers from Clemson, VCU, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Richmond and St. Joseph’s.

Dwayne Cohill: Cleveland, OH (Holy Name). A 2018 4-star combo guard that recently visited Pitt and received an offer. Cohill is rated by 247 Sports as one of the top 100 players in the country.

Jerome Hunter: Pickerington, OH (Pickerington North). A 2018 4-star small forward that’s been a prime target of the Stallings since he was hired last year. Hunter has a final five of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, Xavier and Pitt.

Jake Forrester: Norristown, PA (Westtown School). A 2018 4-star power forward that recently visited Pitt and appears to have a lot of interest in them.

I would also expect Pitt to check in on their 2018 commit Bryce Golden.

We will update this story once we hear of names for all three local schools.
