Duquesne Men’s Basketball Announces 2017 Non-Conference Schedule

The 13 game non-conference schedule for Keith Dambrot’s first season as Duquesne’s head coach was released today.

The Dukes will have ten home non-conference games as well nine conference games which breaks the school record of the number of home games in a single season.

Duquesne will open the season on Saturday, November 11th hosting St. Francis, NY. Once again, Duquesne will battle the other two local teams in town- hosting Robert Morris on November 19th and then taking on Pitt at the PPG Paints Arena on December 1st.

The only time Duquesne leaves Pittsburgh is for games in Las Vegas as part of the Las Vegas Classic. On December 22, Duquesne will play San Francisco and then Southern Illinois on December 23rd.

NON-CONFERENCE NOTES (Provided by Duquesne)-

This will be Duquesne’s first game vs. VMI since the two met in the 1977 NCAA East Regional in Raleigh, NC.

**This will be the first time that Duquesne has played against both Lamar and Southern Illinois and first game against San Francisco since 1980.

**This is Duquesne’s second ever trip to Las Vegas, the last coming in 1987.

**The school-record 19 home games is the most since last season.
