The magical season for the Pitt’s men soccer team continued last night with their biggest win in years.
Freshman Alexander Dexter scored the only jail of the game as Pitt hung on to take down #7 Notre Dame 1-0 in South Bend.
The win was Pitt’s first over a Top 10 program since back in 2000 when they defeated #2 St. John’s.
The Panthers improved to 8-6, the first time they’ve recorded eight wins in a season since back in 2002 (8-9-1). This was Pitt’s first win over Notre Dame since 2002.
Next up for Pitt is another road game at #10 Virginia.
