Ohio 2020 offensive tackle Paris Johnson is one of the most sought after high school football players in the country.

All you need to know is that despite only being a sophomore, Johnson has been offered already by schools such as Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, Miami and Michigan.

Johnson is a future 5-star recruit and will be a priority for every major program in the country including the Pitt Panthers.

As PSN reported yesterday, Pat Narduzzi and his staff hosted Johnson and this turned out to be a day long visit.

At the end of the evening, we caught up briefly with Johnson to get some quick thoughts on his visit to Pittsburgh.

“Watching them during spring practice, and observing their habits, good and bad. I came away learning a lot. Coach Borbely is a good coach. I’ve noticed that the players pick up on his words quickly,” said Johnson.

I asked Johnson about all the attention he’s receiving at such a young age and how he’s trying to deal with it.

“I handle the attention the same way I did before I received this recognition, staying humble, always just wanting to get better on the field.”

While at practice, Johnson had a chance to say hi to a former Pitt great and current NFL Defensive Player of the Year: Aaron Donald.

“Aaron Donald was cool, he introduced himself and we had a good conversation.”

Since he’s still just a sophomore and has a long ways till Decision Day, PSN felt it wasn’t appropriate to get into specifics about his recruitment.
