CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It’s ACC Kickoff week, which is a fancy way of saying that the league’s media representatives have gathered here in North Carolina to get a head start on our football coverage for the 2018 season.

As part of the festivities, it’s the first crack at taking a look at the 2018 media guides, Pitt’s included. Here’s some of the changes in Pitt’s roster and depth chart for the upcoming season.

It seems that the on-campus arrival of the incoming class was drama-free, as all 17 freshmen and both transfers are listed on the roster. There’s always still time for things to go sideways, but it seems as if the seemingly inevitable summer eligibility/enrollment scramble has passed by the Panthers.
Here are the listed uniform numbers, heights and weights for Pitt’s newest players.

Early Enrollees

12 Ricky Town 6-3, 215
18 Shocky Jacques-Louis 6-0, 180
52 Devon Davis 6-4, 325
53 Jake Kradel 6-3, 290
55 Chase Brown 6-5, 305

Incoming Freshmen

2 David Green 6-0, 255
6 John Morgan 6-2, 250
7 Mychale Salahuddin 5-11, 190
12 Nick Patti 6-1, 185
14 Marquis Williams 5-8, 160
21 V’Lique Carter 5-9, 170
26 Judson Tallandier 6-0, 180
31 Erick Hallett 5-11, 175
39 Wendell Davis 6-0, 220
45 Noah Palmer 6-3, 215
50 Tyler Bentley 6-2, 300
68 Blake Zubovic 6-4, 300
80 Cameron O’Neil 6-1, 185
87 Habakkuk Baldonado 6-5, 230
95 Devin Danielson 6-1, 290
98 Kaymar Mimes 6-5, 235

Incoming Transfers

10 Will Gragg 6-4, 250
70 Stefano Millin 6-5, 300

As usual, a few returning players changed their uniform numbers, as well. Here are those changes:

Deslin Alexandre 97 > 5
Garrett Bickhart 84 > 85
Saleem Brightwell 39 > 9
Dontavius Butler-Jenkins 80 > 88
Jim Medure 51 > 81
Qadree Ollison 37 > 30
Devin Street 83 > 17
Albert Tucker 30 > 29

Additionally, Medure changed from defense to offense as a tight end. Fellow walk-on defensive lineman Julian Desire has left the program.

The media guide comes with the first version of a 2018 depth chart. There’s obviously a lot that can change over the next month and a half, but here’s how the things would shake out if the Panthers had to line up to face an opponent this afternoon.
