Happy anniversary to us!! ????????????

It feels hard to believe but today is the three-year anniversary of Pittsburgh Sports Now.

It seems just like yesterday that Joe Steigerwald and I put our plan in motion of starting a website initially devoted to covering Pitt football, Pitt basketball, Duquesne basketball and WPIAL football news.

Since then, we’re proud to have branched out to now be covering Duquesne football, Duquesne women’s basketball, Pitt baseball, women’s basketball, wrestling and various other sports.

None of all of that would be possible without the support that we’ve received from you the readers. The growth of our site statistics over the past three years has been incredible.

Year 1 Page Views: 4,282,887

Year 2 Page Views: 6,031,081

Year 3 Page Views: 6,740,286

We’d also like to thank all the businesses that have shown faith in what we’re doing here at Pittsburgh Sports Now by spending money and advertising with us and our PSN Die-Hards for supporting us. If that didn’t happen, we wouldn’t have Pittsburgh Sports Now, so thanks to everyone that’s advertised with us over the last three years.

Finally, I personally want to thank my two partners, Joe Steigerwald and Alan Saunders. Sometimes in business, it’s hard to get along with your co-workers but that has never been the case with us. In fact, in three years I can’t remember a disagreement that we’ve had about anything. Joe and Alan aren’t just co-workers, they’re friends and I feel that’s a big reason things have gone so smoothly.

I’d like to add one other thing, in my opinion, Alan is the hardest-working writer in Pittsburgh and has developed into one of the best beat writers. The coverage he provides to Pitt fans is second to none.

The three of us would also like to thank all the staff members of Pittsburgh Sports Now: David Hague, Harry Psaros, Francis Guarnieri, Scott Elliott, Stephen Patrick, Nick Gordon, Doug Biega, Parker Hurley, Steve Rotstein, Steve Brenner and Zachary Weiss.

The work that you provide to PSN is valuable and appreciated by the readers. Thanks to you, we’ve developed a nice chemistry with our coverage and we hope that continues.

In celebration of three years ofPittsburgh Sports Now, we’re going to give away three prizes tonight and that’s three free memberships to become a PSN Die-Hard member.

If you’re not already a member and would like to become one, just retweet this article and tomorrow morning at 11 a.m., we’ll announce our three winners.

Once again, thank you.
