Pitt Ranked No. 25 In College Football Coaches Poll

The good news continues for the Pitt football program as today they received some national recognition.

Following their 34-13 Coastal Conference clinching win over Wake Forest, Pitt found out today that they’re ranked.

The College Football Coaches Poll was released this afternoon and Pitt is ranked #25. It’s the first time they’ve been ranked since they were in the AP Top 25 for the final two polls of the 2016 regular season before their loss to Northwestern in the Pinstripe Bowl knocked them out.

The Panthers are playing solid football so this shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Pat Narduzzi’s team has won five of their last six games and in the last four games are beating opponents by an average score of 41-21.
