**Pitt extends an offer to a local player and it’s his first Power Five offer. This afternoon, 2021 defensive tackle Dorien Ford (6’4″, 270) from Baldwin High School gets the offer. Ford has the skill set to become a national recruit and Pitt is the first major school to officially get involved with him.

After 31 years of coaching high school basketball, the past 18 years at Canon-McMillan, Rick Bell has decided to retire. Bell led the Big Macs to their first appearance in the WPIAL semifinals this past season. He had 428 career wins. He previously coached at Peters Township.
