Pitt is no longer a contender for 4-star forward Jalen Bridges.
Saturday afternoon, the versatile forward from Scotland Campus narrowed his list of finalists from ten down to five and they are: West Virginia, Alabama, Xavier, Miami and Indiana.
Bridges has also arranged dates to visit these five programs:
West Virginia: August 30-September 1
Alabama: September 6-8
Xavier: September 13-15
Miami: September 20-22
Indiana: October 4-6
Pittsburgh Sports Now contacted Bridges and asked why Pitt was unable to make the final cut and he gave the following answer, “they wanted me to cancel my official visit to Miami and come there instead and when I said no they stopped recruiting me.”
The weekend of September 20-22 is one that Pitt already has lined up two official visitors: 4-star point guard RJ Davis and 3-star forward Elijah Taylor.
