Jeff Capel was able to get a top target in campus this weekend.
Ohio 2020 4-star center John Hugley traveled to Pittsburgh for an unofficial visit. This was big because he spent the weekend with 4-star point guard R.J. Davis, who made his official.
It’s interesting that Hugley made an unofficial visit and will follow that up with an official visit this coming weekend.
”I was going down there to hang with R.J. and pretty much go there to chill with the guys,” Hugley told Pittsburgh Sports Now.
”This was my first time ever meeting R.J. aside from playing against him in AAU. We just went to the football game and hung out.”
Another person that Hugley was able to hang out with was Pitt head coach Jeff Capel.
”I talk to him and the Pitt staff almost everyday. But while I was there I talked with Coach Capel.”
I asked Hugley if he felt as though he could be close to making a decision or does he feel he has a lot of time left before he decides?
”I feel like I still have some time left,” said Hugley. “I’m just taking things slow and figure out where I want to go.”
Following Pitt, Hugley says that he still has trips planned to Kansas State, Missouri and Miami.
