Postgame Reaction from Pitt’s Upset Loss to Nicholls State
PITTSBURGH — “We’re not as good as our guys maybe think we are.”
That was Pitt head coach Jeff Capel’s top-line takeaway as his team was upset, 75-70 by Nicholls State at home on Sunday in a game they were favored to win by double digits.
Capel and shooting guard Ryan Murphy talked about another slow start from Pitt and how the Panthers underestimated their upstart opponent.
