Offers Pour In and 4-Star Wing William Jeffress Names A Top 10

It was anticipated that after re-classifying to the Class of 2020, Erie McDowell 4-star wing William Jeffress would instantly receive a bunch of interest from major programs–and that’s exactly what’s happened.

After a slew of new offers and visits from coaches, Jeffress has decided to release his list of top 10 schools. With all the new national attention, something to keep in mind is that Jeffress now has offers from all of these programs, most of which have come since his reclassification.

The latest offers have come from Memphis, Villanova, Notre Dame, Virginia, Northwestern and Vanderbilt. Jerry Stackhouse and Chris Collins were two of the head coaches that traveled to Erie in order to visit Jeffress.

What’s next for Jeffress?

His recruitment in terms of visits is on hold until the completion of his teams PIAA playoff run. Erie McDowell is next in action on Wednesday with an opponent to be determined.

Jeffress and his family are working coaches to organize official visits and determine when they are coming to see him play. Upcoming official visits will be scheduled around the PIAA playoff schedule.

In terms of a timeline to make a decision on which school he’ll pick–and if that will come in April– I’m told that will depend on if Jeffress can get in all his official visits in time.
