**Defensive tackle Nick James from IMG Academy in Florida becomes the 13th sophomore that Pitt has offered in the last 3 days. James (6’3″, 255) received the news from Rob Harley and also has offers from Auburn, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, Mississippi State, West Virginia and Texas A&M.

**Pitt is the first school to offer 2022 St. John’s College (Washington, D.C.) wide receiver DJ Linkins. Linkins is 6-foot-4, 170 pounds and plays for one of the top schools in the D.C. area.

**It’s the end of an era in ACC women’s basketball, as legendary Notre Dame head coach Muffet McGraw has retired. McGraw had been the Irish head coach since 1987, with a 936-292 overall record, two NCAA Tournament wins and was a four-time Associated Press coach of the year. She was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017.
McGraw’s final game as head coach of Notre Dame came in a first-round ACC Tournament loss to Pitt on March 4. The Pottsville, Pa. native said on Twitter, “I am proud of what we have accomplished, and I can turn the page to the next chapter in my life with no regrets, knowing that I gave it my best every day.”
