Between now and National Signing Days in December and February, we will see many players de-committing from their original college choice.

The Pitt football program has already had this situation benefit them but also seen them lose a player. Virginia defensive end Trevion Stevenson flipped from Pitt to North Carolina while cornerback Noah Biglow changed his mind and is now with Pitt after originally committing to Iowa State.

Because of the volume of players changing their minds, programs will continue to pursue recruits despite them already making a verbal commitment to another program.

Although it’s a long-shot, we have an example of this as Pitt has reached out to a player from Florida that’s currently committed to another ACC program.
