Pitt has offered another player from nearby First Love Christian Academy, this time in the Class of 2021.

Jeff Capel extended an offer to Class of 2021 power forward Mustapha Amzil, making three players from the Knights to hold Pitt offers. Pitt’s head coach extended the offer on Tuesday after assistant Jason Capel first talked to Amzil.

Amzil is a 6-foot-10, 215-pound forward from Kotka, Finland whose offers have been taking off since announcing that he was transferring to First Love in August. This will be his first season of playing basketball in the United States.

Since arriving, Amzil has earned offers from Boston College, Dayton, Maryland, Oklahoma State and St. John’s

Class of 2022 players on First Love with Pitt offers include guard Mason Manning and swing forward Fray Nguimbi.

The Panthers will have just one scholarship to fill in the Class of 2021 as things stand right now, as only forward Terrell Brown is currently slated to graduate. That could change if guard Nike Sibande is able to win his transfer waiver appeal with the NCAA.
