Since joining the Pitt basketball program last season, Justin Champagnie has continued to improve his game and has gotten better and better.
That growth was recognized on Monday morning as the New York native was named a first team All-ACC player and was runner-up to Georgia Tech’s Moses Wright for the ACC Player of the Year Award. Champagnie finished second in scoring in the conference with 18.4 points/game and led the ACC with 11.1 rebounds per game.
Champagnie became the first Pitt player to be named a first-team All-ACC player.
The question now is will this upcoming ACC Tournament be the last time Champagnie wears a Pitt uniform? With this breakout season, the versatile swingman has been mentioned as a possible candidate to leave college early and enter the upcoming NBA Draft.
Reasonable arguments can be made for both Champagnie coming back to Pitt for another season and also leaving now while his perceived draft stock is high.
Our PSN Poll Question is what do you think Champagnie will end up doing?
