Published

on

The Pitt men’s basketball season ended on Tuesday following a 79-73 loss to Miami, Fla. in the first round of the ACC Tournament.

The Panthers finish the season with an overall record of 10-12, their fifth consecutive losing season.

The 2020-21 season was filled with some good moments like the emergence of sophomore Justin Champagnie and the end of the season emergence of Nike Sibande and Femi Odukale.

However, it also included plenty of not do good moments like the suspension of John Hugley, the transfers of Xavier Johnson and Au’Diese Toney and another end of the season collapse.

For the third straight year the team fell off a hill halfway through the season and there is very little optimism for next year. John hughley is the key to next year. Any idea when we will know what’s going on with him?

I’ve heard a wide range. I heard it will be easy to plea down to a misdemeanor and will just have a few game suspension and not a huge deal. I have also heard there zero chance of him ever being a Pitt panther again. So who knows
