One of the crown jewels at the conclusion of the PIAA high school wrestling season is the Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic, an All-Star event for amateur wrestling that has become know as the, “Rose Bowl of Wrestling.” The primer All-Star event is now less than two weeks away.
Earlier this month, Pittsburgh Sports Now reported that the Pennsylvania All-Star Team and the WPIAL All-Star Team had been set.
Additional details surrounding the 47th iteration of the All-Star event have now come to light: The USA All-Star Team Announced. Among the 12 Team USA, there are 1,564 combined wins and 23 State Titles. A marquee women’s match was also confirmed.

Additionally, it was announced that two of the best women wrestlers in the country will square of against one another, competing at 127 pounds. FloWrestling’s No. 1 Adrienna Turner (Team USA) of Davis High School (Davis, CA) will battle Flo’s No. 2 Montana DeLawder (Team Pennsylvania) of Gettysburg High School (Gettysburg, PA).
