Georgia DE Malachi Madison Sets Up Official Visit to Pitt

Another out-of-state recruit has scheduled an upcoming trip to Pittsburgh, as Class of 2022 three-star defensive end Malachi Madison (6-foot-3, 290 pounds) from Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia will make an official visit to Pitt the weekend of June 3-5. Madison makes this decision after just receiving an offer from Charlie Partridge 10 days ago, March 16.

Madison currently holds over 25 offers including from programs such as Central Florida, Colorado, Minnesota, Mississippi State, NC State, Penn State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. Madison has previously announced that he will be dropping his top schools list on April 2.

Aside from this visit to Pitt, Madison also announced Friday that he’ll be taking his second official visit to Central Florida on June 11-13. Madison becomes the 17th player that Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed to be making an official visit to Pitt in June.

A few notes about these official visits: 
*At this point, Madison is the seventh player visiting the week of June 3-5.
*Becomes the second player from Georgia that’s scheduled official visit in June (Ryland Gandy)
*At this point, Pitt has gotten official visits from players in seven different states (Georgia, Florida, New York, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Utah
*Madison becomes the second defensive end (Tyreese Fearbry) to schedule an official visit.
