On Tuesday, head coach Andy Toole received some good news when he found out former Bryant guard Michael Green III would be joining the Colonials for next season.
Green chose Robert Morris over a list of around 15 schools, headlined by Big Ten program Minnesota. In his sophomore season at Bryant, the Bronx, New York native averaged 16 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 37.3% from the field.
At 5-foot-11, 155 pounds, the quick guard will be a solid scoring option and floor general for Toole’s squad. Although he will be one of the smaller guards in the tough Horizon League, he brings with him a bulldog mentality and a grittiness that will be appreciated by Colonial fans.
Green will have three seasons of eligibility left with the Colonials.
This news comes just one week after guard Trayden Williams entered the transfer portal and on the same day as forward Olisa Ngonadi entered the portal.
