on

After joining the Panthers as a walk-on in 2016, center Jimmy Morrissey put together an impressive resume at Pitt. He started 47 games over four seasons and earned All-ACC honors three times with one third-team selection in 2018 and two first-team spots in 2019 and 2020. In his last two season, Morrissey allowed just two sacks. In 2020, he won the Burlsworth Trophy, which is given each year to the most outstanding college football player who began his career as a walk-on.
