Tennessee Titans Draft DE Rashad Weaver in 4th Round

Published

on

Pitt defensive end Rashad Weaver’s NFL Draft wait ended today as he was selected in the 4th Round by the Tennessee Titans.

Weaver finished his productive career at Pitt by being selected as a 1st-team Associated Press All-American after finishing the 2020 season with 14.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles.

Weaver is a player that will provide the Titans size and length up front along with the ability to get after the quarterback along with being solid against the run.

Weaver joins fellow Pitt defensive end Patrick Jones by getting selected in the draft, with Jones going in the 3rd round to Minnesota.

Interesting that Weaver is in a fight on April 18 but charges not filed till two days after hes drafted. Perfect timing. With him not being at Pitt now, no story on this?
