According to Rivals’ National Basketball Analyst Jamie Shaw, top Pitt target and former Pitt commit Jalen Hood-Schifino has scheduled an official visit to Pitt for June 16.
Hood-Schifino is a 6-foot-5, 210-pound combo guard who attends Monteverde Academy in Florida. Back in late December of 2019, he committed to the Panthers, but later de-committed on July 27 and reopened his recruitment. He is the No. 32 ranked player in the nation according to Rivals and the No. 26 player in the nation according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
One of the most skilled guards in the class of 2022, Hood-Schifino has seen his recruitment blow up over the course of his high school career. He holds offers from Pitt, Kansas, Illinois, Clemson, Florida, Arizona State, and many more. According to Shaw, in addition to Pitt, he will also be visiting Tennessee, Georgetown, and Indiana this summer.
Hood-Schifino’s trip on the 16th will be the second official visit set up by Pitt that we know of as of now, coming just eleven days after Judah Mintz’s scheduled trip on June 5.Â
Another tease job. These type of kids want to play with other good/great players.
Not guys from Oakland U or Stoned U. Capel will be fired after a 10 and 22 season anyway.
