Pitt 2021 All 105: WR Myles Alston

Published

on

All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2021 training camp roster.

20 • Myles Alston, freshman wide receiver

Last year: Ocean Lakes, Alston’s high school team in Virginia, did not play in 2020 due to the pandemic

Stats: In his junior year of high school, Alston tallied 17 catches for 212 yards and a touchdown.

Camp outlook: Alston reportedly came to Pitt because of former wide receiver coach Chris Beatty, who has since moved on to the Los Angeles Chargers. However, Alston and new receivers coach Brennan Marion have already formed a tight relationship.

Projected role: In a crowded Panthers’ receiver room, it will be tough to see Alston getting any significant playing time.

Accolades, Highlights:

Listed as one of Virginia’s top 25 overall prospects by Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports.
